阮曾媛琪教授为香港理工大学原副校长，退休前负责学生及环球事务。阮教授现为香港理工大学应用社会科学系名誉教授、香港凯瑟克基金执行委员会委员、香港社会工作人员协会名誉主席，北京大学、西安交通大学、华中科技大学等多间高校的客座教授。

阮教授曾任国际社会工作教育协会主席、亚太区社会工作教育协会秘书及副主任、中华全国妇女联合会执行委员会委员、及多家香港、内地及国际社会服务机构的董事和委员，包括大学教育资助委员会委员、粤港澳大湾区香港社会服务专业联盟联席主席、圣公会福利协会、基督教女青年会、世界宣明会董事等等。她于2002年获特区政府委任为太平绅士、2008年获铜紫荆勋章。

Professor Angelina YUEN is the former Vice President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she was responsible for student and global affairs before her retirement. Currently, Professor YUEN serves as Honorary Professor in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a committee member of the Keswick Foundation, and an Honorary Chairperson of the Hong Kong Social Workers Association. She is also a visiting professor at several universities, including Peking University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Professor YUEN has held various positions, including Chairperson of the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW), Secretary and Deputy Director of the Asian and Pacific Association of Social Work Education (APASWE), and Member of the Executive Committee of the All-China Women’s Federation (ACWF). She also served as a director and a committee member of numerous social service organisations in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and internationally, including member of the University Grants Committee, Co-Chair of the Hong Kong Social Service Professional Alliance of The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. She has also held board positions at The Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council, The Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA), and World Vision, among others. In 2002, she was appointed a Justice of the Peace by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, and in 2008, she was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star.
